Mayor Carl Dean Has a Grant Approved to Increase Nashville Metro Employees Salaries
The city council members held a hearing today for the Nashville Metro Employees, in which they proposed to increase their pays. A total of 100 police, service and fire union supporters and members joined them to appreciate their efforts to get metro more pays for employees. Mayor Carl Dean has gotten a grant approved to pay the civil service commission. Mayor Carl Dean has recommended increasing the pay of all metro employees by 1.5 percent and has restored further increment raises. On Monday, the Civil Service Commission approved a pay plan put forth by Mayor Karl Dean.
